The plague
So ive been fighting this "Plague" for just over a week now, i missed a full week of work. Today was my first day back. Although i dont feel 100% i definitely feel alot better. I went to see my doctor on friday and she gave me some antibiotics which helped alot, plus ive been these crazy uperconcetrate echinacia pills. I have never missed a full week of work since i started working. The paycheck is definitely going to hurt.

Ok so this is a very long over due entry. Lots has happened over the last few months. I'm not going to put it all in one post. I'm going to make a few, but mostly wanted to let people know I'm not dead.

[Link] | I'm at Lan Wars 6, a kick ass lan party in st john.
So far the night has been going great, with one exception.
So I'm playing some Call of duty 2, and all of a sudden my computer shuts down, and it wont turn on anymore. So i pop the case open and start trying to figure out whats wrong, when POOF, a puf of smoke comes off my video card. What a great way to kick off a lan party. Luckyly one of the guys here works at a Computer store, and he lent me a new video card of basically equal speed. How awesome is that. The card usualy sells for 175$, but he said if i wanted to buy it i could have it for 100$ as a one time only deal for the event. Im seriously thinking about it, otherwise im going to be withouth a video card for 2-3 weeks while i wait for mine to come back. Techincaly i could use both once my old one comes back. I just need to figure out where to come up with the money.

Back from Halifax
I got back in fredericton around 7:45pm on monday night. It was a good trip, just wish i had gotten more sleep. I got in Halifax to late on friday to pick up any application forms, but i did get a chance to drive around and see where the Nova Scotia Community College Information Technology campus was located. Although I haven't decided to go there for sure, it looks promising. Its in a neighborhood that wouldn't be overly expensive to live in, yet not over far away from downtown and conviniently close to my friend Elinor. I Need to check out their website and see what they have to offer now.
I figure I will start applying for jobs in Halifax in September, but il be really picky at first. If i can get a good job that pays as much if not more then im making now, why not move in September ? The closer i get to january the less picky i will be on jobs.
I had fun on my trip too, i hung out with my friends John and Elinor for most of my trip. We also met up with Ian and Beeej, Two friends that i used to play World of Warcraft with but had never met in person, John came to halifax with them. On Sunday night we went to a local pub where there was live music, Elinor was performing a couple songs too :)
But for now i must head to work. I will post more details later.

I think my mouse is sad :(
For some reason my mouse keeps freaking out :(
it will work fine for hours and then it will start to freak out and jump all over the screen.
Sometimes one of the buttons either sticks or gets pressed when i don't press it.
I made sure to do a virus scan and a spyware check to make sure it wasn't software, but nothing turned up.
So for now i'm using my spare MX518 mouse.
Unfortunately i cant seem to find my receipt for my MX1000 :(
has anyone else had this happen to their mouse ?
Its really annoying when i'm surfing the net, and all of a sudden my browser goes back a couple pages for no apparent reason.
:( poor mousy, we had lots of good times together, i hope i don't loose you.

I was cleaning my room, and i ran out of things to clean.
This has never happened to me before.
It is a very strange feeling.

Rip Lady
Found out today that my parents dog lady passed away yesterday. Her heart had been failing for a while, i guess she was taking a turn for the worse and my parents couldn't stand to see her suffer anymore, so they had her put down. She was 10 and a half.
She was a crazy dog, but she will be missed.

WTF ???
So today i cleaned out behind my futon in my room, and my closet. Figured it was long overdue.
I discovered the strangest thing, not only do i fell better after the job is done, but the actual act of cleaning makes me feel better.
So im taking a break to cook supper and then im going to clean out under my coffee table, clean my computer desk including inside, and them vaccum my room. Im considering also cleaning the upstairs hallway closet.
Who would have guessed ?
